FAQ

Custom political signs questions, answered.

Everything buyers ask before they order — minimums, timings, artwork and print options.

What is the minimum order?

Our minimum order is just 12 signs, with bulk tiers as quantities grow. Double-sided, large format, rally panels and stake-only orders all carry the same minimum.

How fast will my political signs arrive?

Your free mockup lands within 24 hours and signs ship in about 2 weeks. Large framed formats add time, and because election dates do not move we confirm a real ship date in writing before you commit rather than after.

Why did my last signs spin and blow away?

Almost certainly the flutes ran the wrong way. Corrugated plastic has hollow flutes in one direction only and the stake legs slide inside them, so a sheet cut with flutes horizontal gives the wire nothing to grip. It yields more signs per sheet, which is why it keeps happening, and it is invisible in a proof. We cut flutes vertical and state it on the quote.

How big should the candidate name be?

Bigger than you think, and bigger than the office. Every other roadside sign gets to use a word the driver already knows — SALE, OPEN, FOR RENT — while a political sign asks somebody to read a proper noun they may never have seen, which cannot be guessed from its shape. That is why we will send back a layout with the slogan, the website and often the year removed.

Should I put the year on the sign?

Only if you want to reprint. A sign without a year works again in the next cycle, and coroplast is a polypropylene that very few curbside programmes accept, so unusable signs end up in a garage rather than a recycling bin. Leaving the date off is the cheapest decision on this page.

Single or double sided?

Double on any two-way road, and especially on corner lots — every driver approaching from behind a single-sided sign sees a blank panel, and the second face costs less than the first. On a one-way approach it is a waste, and we will tell you so and sell you more signs instead.

What about the disclaimer and where signs may be placed?

Those are legal questions and they are not ours to answer. Disclaimer wording, minimum type size, right-of-way setbacks and posting windows are set by your jurisdiction and by your committee’s own counsel. We print the disclaimer exactly as you supply it, at a size that stays legible, and we show it on the proof for you to approve — we do not draft, verify or advise on it.

Do you print for any campaign?

We print for any lawful campaign, committee, measure or advocacy group regardless of party or position, and we take no side. We do not make regulatory or traffic signs, metal plaques, blade signs, neon, A-boards, flags, buttons or celebration yard displays — signs, stakes, posters and rally panels are what we do.
