About

A field of leaning signs is a manufacturing decision, not bad luck.

Custom Political Signs prints coroplast yard signs, double-sided panels, 4×8 formats, rally panels, wire H-stakes and posters — with the flute direction and the stake wire gauge stated on every quote.

Custom printed political signs with logo

Every campaign has the same week. The signs go out on Saturday, the wind comes through on Monday, and by Tuesday a third of them are leaning, spinning or gone.

It gets blamed on the weather and on whoever planted them. It is almost always the sheet.

Corrugated plastic has hollow flutes running one way only, and the stake goes inside them. Cut the sheet the other way and the wire has nothing at all to hold.

Why we exist

Three things decide whether a sign run works: which way the flutes run, what gauge the stake wire is, and how much is on the panel. None of the three appears on a normal quote.

All three are settled before anything is printed, and none of them costs anything.

The flutes decide everything

A wire H-stake works by sliding its two legs up inside the hollow flutes. Vertical flutes give the wire a full-length channel to grip; horizontal flutes give it nothing.

A printer gets more signs out of a sheet cut the wrong way, which is exactly why it keeps happening — and it is completely invisible in a proof. We cut vertical and we put it on the quote in writing.

A name is the hardest thing to read at speed

Every other roadside sign gets to use a word the driver already knows: SALE, OPEN, FOR RENT. Those can be recognised from their shape before they are read.

A political sign asks somebody to read a proper noun they may never have seen, which cannot be guessed at all. So the name needs far more size and contrast than instinct suggests, and the slogan, the website and the year are the first things to go. We will send a layout back with less on it than you sent us.

The stake is a real specification

Wire gauge, leg length and whether the shoulder is welded are numbers. “Heavy duty” is not.

A gauge that holds perfectly in firm ground bends over in soft soil after a wet week, which is a regional answer rather than a universal one — so we ask where the signs are going before quoting one.

The season ends and the signs do not disappear

Print the year on a sign and it is landfill next cycle. Leave it off and the same artwork works again.

Coroplast is a polypropylene that very few curbside programmes accept, so signs come back to a garage rather than a recycling bin, and steel stakes are genuinely worth collecting because they are the part that lasts.

What we do not do

We give no legal advice. Disclaimer wording, minimum type size, right-of-way setbacks and posting windows are set by your jurisdiction and by your committee’s counsel. We print the disclaimer exactly as supplied, at a size that stays legible, and show it on the proof for you to approve — we do not draft, verify or advise on it.

And we take no side. We print for any lawful campaign, committee, measure or advocacy group regardless of party or position. We make no regulatory or traffic signs, metal plaques, blade signs, neon, A-boards, flags, buttons or celebration yard displays.

How we work

1

ASK

Where the signs are going, what the ground is like, and which roads see them.

2

SPEC

Flute direction, panel thickness, sides, stake wire gauge and leg length.

3

EDIT

A layout with less on it, and the name bigger.

4

MOCK

Free mockup within 24 hours, with your disclaimer shown for approval.

5

SHIP

About 2 weeks, with a real date in writing because the election date cannot move.

Who we serve

Campaigns whose last run spun on the wires.
Committees who lost a field of signs to one wet Monday.
Consultants who need a spec they can defend to a client.
School board and municipal races treated like small orders elsewhere.
Field teams who need stakes without reordering panels.
Anybody handed a layout with a slogan, a website and a year on it.
Campaigns who want the artwork to survive into the next cycle.
